limited, so attendees can expect casual conversations &

Q: What is the Carmel Authors & Ideas Festival?
A: Thirty five of the country’s best authors will discuss
their books. The topics, as well as the speakers, are
diverse, compelling and entertaining. The marquee authors
will all speak in the main theater, individually. The
break-out sessions provide a chance to listen and discuss
with authors in a much smaller and more intimate setting.
Q: Do I have to be a writer to attend?
A: Absolutely not! This promises to be an entertaining three
days for all of us who love to read.
Q: I don’t want to spend $1000 for two tickets, when my
husband only wants to hear Sandra Day O'Connor and Greg
Mortenson. Can he buy a
ticket just for them?
A: Tickets are available only for the entire event, but you
may share a ticket with your husband. He could attend the
sessions featuring Sandra Day O'Connor and Greg Mortenson, and you could attend
the rest of the Festival.
Q: I have plans to be away that weekend, but really want
to attend the Festival next year. Is there a way for me to
be supportive this year?
A: Yes. We are working with The Monterey County Herald’s
Newspaper in Education program to solicit donations from
supporters unable to attend the Festival. These funds will
be used to provide scholarship tickets for educators. |
