The 2nd
annual Carmel Authors & Ideas Festival will bring to
Carmel-by-the Sea more than 35 award winning authors,
including authors of New York Times best-sellers, and
Pulitzer and Nobel prize winners - winners of virtually
every prestigious literary award and much more.
Speakers include former U.S. Supreme Court Justice
Sandra Day O'Connor, Greg Mortenson who was on the New
York Times Best Seller list for 59 weeks with his book
Three Cups of Tea, Irshad Manji,
Oprah Winfrey’s first annual Chutzpah Award winner,
Coach
Don Shula, the winningest coach in NFL history,
just to name a few, plus 35 award winning authors, they
will all be here.
The festival will be held in the intimate and luxurious
Sunset Community Center Theater. There will be book
signings and opportunities to meet the famous authors.
There is limited seating available, so attendees can
expect casual conversations and informal exchanges with
the authors.
We promise the weekend will exceed your every
expectation. The authors will be inspiring,
entertaining, insightful, and compelling.
Because the character of the Festival calls for a
certain degree of intimacy, tickets are limited.
