Jeffrey Zaslow
is a senior writer and columnist for “The Wall Street
Journal”. In 2000, Zaslow received the Will Rogers
Humanitarian Award, given to a newspaper columnist who
exemplifies the ideals and public service work of the noted
humorist and columnist. In 2003, his column “Moving On” was
named Best General Interest Column by the National Society
of Newspaper Columnists. In 2007, Zaslow attended a lecture
entitled “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams”, by
computer science professor Randy Pausch at Carnegie Mellon
University. So moved by Pausch’s last lecture (as Pausch was
destined to die from cancer just a few months later), Zaslow
co-wrote with Pausch The Last Lecture, which helped
fuel worldwide interest in this infamous last lecture..
