Jane Juska
was raised in rural Archbold, Ohio and moved to California
in 1955. She has taught English for more than forty years in
high school, in college, and in prison. With the successful
publication of her first book, A Round Heeled Woman,
Juska has become a kind of spokesperson for the romantically
active senior set, and makes frequent appearances in front
of book groups and women’s groups. She still gets lots of
emails from men asking her for a date and has had to get an
unlisted phone number.
