Terri Jentz
is the author of the acclaimed non-fiction book Strange
Piece of Paradise, nominated in 2006 for a National Book
Critics Circle Award, an Edgar Allan Poe Award in mystery
writing, and a Los Angeles Times Book Award. It is the story
of Jentz’s investigation into the unsolved attempted murder
against her and her college roommate in the Oregon desert in
1977. She is an advocate on behalf of putting an end to
violence against women, on a global scale. She has appeared
on CNN, ABC’s “Good Morning America,” “Primetime,” and will
be featured in a 2009 documentary on PBS “Frontline.”
