Cecil
Castellucci
has published three novels for young adults – Boy Proof,
The Queen of Cool and Beige. She also wrote the
graphic novel The PLAIN Janes which was the launch
title for DC Comics new Minx line of graphic novels for
young adults. In 2008, she has a short story in “Wizards of
the Coast’s Magic” in the Mirrorstone Anthology and an essay
in “Bloomsbury’s First Kiss: Then Tell” anthology, as well
as the graphic novel sequel Janes in Love. Her books
have been on ALA’s BBYA, Quick Pick for Reluctant Readers,
Great Graphic Novels for Teens list, as well as the NYPL
Books for the Teen Age and the Amelia Bloomer list.
