The 1st
annual Carmel Authors & Ideas Festival will bring to
Carmel-by-the Sea more than 25 award winning authors,
including authors of New York Times best-sellers, and
Pulitzer and Nobel prize winners - winners of virtually
every prestigious literary award and much more.
Doris Kearns Goodwin, Frank McCourt, Seymour Hersh, Bill
Walsh, Douglas Brinkley (currently #3 on the NY Times
best selling list with The Reagan Diaries), John Grogan
(100 weeks on the NY Times list with his best friend,
Marley) just to name a few.
The festival will be held in the intimate and luxurious
Sunset Community Center Theater. There will be book
signings and opportunities to meet the famous authors.
There is limited seating available, so attendees can
expect casual conversations and informal exchanges with
the authors.
We promise the weekend will exceed your every
expectation. The authors will be inspiring,
entertaining, insightful, and compelling.
Because the character of the Festival calls for a
certain degree of intimacy, tickets are limited.
Requests for tickets are filled in the order in which
they are received. Cost of a Festival ticket to attend
all general sessions is $500, plus taxes and handling of
