M.G. Lord is an author and a critic. Her most recent book “Astro Turf:

The Private Life of Rocket Science”, is a family memoir about aerospace culture during the Cold War.

Since 1995, she is a regular contributor to The New York Times Book Review. Prior to freelance writing, Lord was a syndicated political cartoonist and columnist.
