Doris Kearns Goodwin,
a presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author,
is an equally gifted storyteller.
One of the most recognized historians of the day, Goodwin
provides informed and enthralling commentary. With a deft
wit and an uncanny ability to weave stories that put you
“right in the room” as history occurs, Goodwin offers
extraordinary insight into the lives of the leaders who have
shaped the United States.
Goodwin won the Pulitzer Prize for “No Ordinary Time:
Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt”. As well, she penned a
touching memoir, “Wait Till Next Year”, about a love of
baseball she shared with her father. Goodwin also
contributed to the PBS documentaries LBJ, The Kennedy’s, FDR
and Baseball.
Her most recent work “Team of Rivals: The Political Genius
of Abraham Lincoln”, inspires business and political leaders
of today by teaching Lincoln’s quiet but powerful leadership
qualities. Steven Spielberg is developing the #1
best-selling book into a movie.
